Grief Cabaret: A Glamorous Mourning is a contemporary circus theatre show about grief and resilience. A hilarious spectacle of depth and brilliance directed by Amaya Alvarado and performed by Amaya Alvarado, Bevin Victoria, Cuream Jackson, Jacki Ward, Kate Law and Lacy Todd. Audiences will see beautiful and powerful performances using aerial arts, contortion, theatre, hair hanging, comedy, glitter, song, dance, and mourning. During pandemic times and beyond we have experienced a kind of collective grief worldwide over lives and livelihoods, over ways of being and being together, lost. Grief Cabaret: A Glamorous Mourning invites audiences to laugh, cry, and grieve alongside performers who explore many forms of grief and the ways in which it changes us.
